Security Issue ?

LastPass has picked up a dual logon to Roving.com

Is this expected ?

When I try and go to roving.com in Firefox, I get a security message saying "don't go there" (and I didn't)

I can't find anything or any warnings via a search but as you say, my security stops me going there as the security certificate is untrusted.

On the PC I'm going to put 'roving' in my hosts file, that'll stop any accidental visits.

I thought Roving.com was something to do with ConstantContact...who provide email/newsletter contact list functionality (like mailchimp).

From time to time the site logs me out, even though I've got 'remember me' checked, not often, every month or 2, but I need to reenter my logon credentials.

On the PC I use LastPass rather than let the browser or anything else remember my details.

On this occasion I'd been logged out and LastPass, for the first time, not seen it before displayed that message.

I backed out and signed in manually.

I wonder if lastpass was thinking the 'Weekly newsletter signup' box was the log in form and was using that to send the username and password? That would explain why it thought they were being sent to roving.com (part of Constant Contact that we use for the mailing list).

Ah, so there is a legitimate connection.

Ta for the info. It's not done it before because I suppose Rovings certificate was up to date.

I'll check what LastPass is linked to ....... next time at the PC.
