Does anybody here use the TomTom forum?

I pop into the TomTom forum once a week or so. I tried it today and it's completely changed since my last visit. I can't find the subforums for GO Mobile (either iOS or Android) and I can't see how you create a new thread.

It's almost like TomTom have made the changes because they either don't want to hear constructive criticism Twisted Evil

or they've just done away with the GO Mobile iOS and Android apps! Shocked

I've just visited it myself and remembered (after I got there) that they were going to change it.

I thought Insided was awful. Whatever this new one is called is even awfuller.

I tried wandering around in it - first thing I tried was clicking on a thing which said "Discussions Forum" (vaguely relevant, perhaps? and it's what I used to click last week to pull up the discussions forum). It took me to an identical page, but in German.

I'll swear that at one stage during my lost wanderings, I did see a click thing for starting a new topic, but alas I have been unable to find it again.

I found your topic about GO Mobile and tried to find the section - I typed GO Mobile in the search box and came up with something - the first page had one topic in English, the rest in French and German, but I suspect none of them of interest to you!

Interestingly, after doing nothing except take advantage of finding a place where I could change my profile picture and signature, I find I am shown on the first page as this week's leader in points, top of the list with 70 points!!! You're not even listed, so I guess your contribution, whilst meaningful and interesting, was worth less than mine even though I didn't contribute anything.

It looks like I may have to search for user manual and read it. If I can drum up the interest.

After clicking everything in sight, I've found the GO Mobile under the section "Navigation Apps".

More clicking - I think you get the chance to start a new discussion when yiu actually click on a discussion. Clicking on the main subforum heading does nothing, click on a topic in order to read it and at top right appears a heading in green "New discussion".

Like I said, it's even awfuller than Insided. Rolling Eyes

'Ironic' wasn't my first thoughts when TomTom decided to 'improve' their forum! Rolling Eyes

Fortunately member "Lost Soul" on the TomTom forum has found a few answers on how the new improved forum works and they can be found in the New Forum Features coming up thread on the TomTom forum.
