so, both ways they are active? Why doesn't my device show this when passing, yet in 2017 they did? |

Is it just me or is anybody else fed up of this? He’s been driving round with an out of date database for 17 months (there have been at least 60 updates since the last one he downloaded) and now quibbles over updating for £20. That’s 38 pence a week for updates over the next year. Not to mention the chance of getting another year free if on his many journeys on the continent he manages to submit something we don’t already know about. _________________ Dennis

The data is the same as you've not updated since 2017. So the only thing I can think is that the device you're using HAS been updating and is handling the data differently.
That, or you're using a different database. I'm still honestly not sure what is going on and what database is or isn't being used. |

All I can say is that I found that there are some customers one doesn't want as you know the effort of looking after them will exceed all reasonableness. |

Hi road-runner,

Looking at our map at location 50.64434,5.46760, which is in the central reservation of the E42 and in between two fixed cameras both showing a 120 km/h speed limit, one NE direction and the other SW direction. Incidentally, their ID numbers indicate that they have been in the database a while.

If you're asking whether the physical fixed cameras are active, well we don't know! You could try speeding past each one every day for a few months and let us know whether you get caught. Alternatively treat them as active and just keep to or below the speed limit.
If you're asking whether the PGPSW camera database alerts you then yes in bother directions. Remember that if you use CamerAlert you get directional alerts, i.e. alerts only for the direction that you are travelling and not cameras on the other side of the road.

No idea, sorry, I don't know the Kenwood DXN 517.
If you would like further confirmation I can check one or two more locations for you.

If these cameras are in the database, and it's looking like they are, then the issue, assuming you have downloaded the latest database, is that the Kenwood isn't running the latest. _________________ DashCam:

Yeah, I posted after reading page 2, before I saw and read page 3 of this thread. _________________ Robert.

The bottom line is that the issue of no warnings/cameras at the posted location is close to home, not with the database in this instance. _________________ DashCam:

Question for MaFt,
Apart from Life Members, we cannot see whether people are current subscribers or not.
Is it possible to have a membership status line under the author's details (i.e. join data and number of posts) to show whether a member has ever subscribed to the database and if so when their membership expires or expired?

Apply then.
You know what are speed cameras v CCTV and not one to submit a removal for a big yellow existing box. _________________ DashCam:
