M8 and myself were in contact with Garmin for a week and I reckon it was transmitter maintenance.
The site I posted did have a whole load of digital transmitters either down or experiencing interruptions.
Worth keeping an eye on it:

Not sure if it will help but Garmin Express is showing a couple of firmware updates for the digital traffic and GTM traffic receivers. Perhaps see if your unit picks up any of these updates. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

Before I update my units, is it still working ?
Unlike the Win10 October update, since pulled, that has trashed some PC's by removing critical files.
... and they wonder why some of us stayed with Win7 _________________ DashCam:

Inrix traffic down again ?
Went down about 08:40 and still down. Traveled from Thatcham to Heathrow.
Checked my 2599, different TA cable and that's the same TPEG constant red so no data. _________________ DashCam:

Thanks, I thought it was just me as a Google yesterday revealed nothing.
Both my Garmins being out was suspicious though.
Still down this morning. No big deal though as I have no carer hospital runs planned now. Plus the traffic was so quiet yesterday it was a pleasure to drive. Drove through the centre of Thatcham and I was almost on my own. _________________ DashCam:

but these traffic data providers use floating vehicle data mostly from mobile phone signals could it be that because of the unprecedented reduction in traffic volume that there is no longer enough data for the service to tell whether traffic is free-flowing or congested? so no data is outputted either way. |

But then surely it would say there was NO traffic, where as my Garmin has struggled to connect at all! |
