Any error messages ?
Has it installed and won't run or won't the installer run ?
Try both on 'run as administrator' _________________ DashCam:

Thanks Kremmen.
The 64 bit Roadhawk appears to install ok but when run shows errors on the settings menu and format disk and just runs a 5 second advert for Roadhawk and will not run a roadhawk produced file.
I've re-downloaded and re-installed the software 3 times with the same problem.
Same effect when run as administrator.
Roadhawk trakM8 did suggest updating the adobe air but I'm running the latest at 31.0.0.96.
As an experiment I've downloaded Roadhawks 32 bit software for the older HD dashcam and that works on my 64 bit system.
At least I can play the recorded files but it's a bit strange why the 64 bit software fails. _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav

Try 'Troubleshoot Compatibility' and see if that suggests something. _________________ Richard

Hi Duddy,
I run RoadHawk HD and HD-2 units, not DC2. I also now run Mac instead of Windows. However when I ran Windows 8 I never thought much of the RoadHawk software - I only used it for changing the settings.
For watching the video I use Dashcam Viewer (Earthshine Software) which is available for Windows and Mac.
Alternatively, a good piece of software if you can find a copy is Registrator Viewer by Vadim Kozlov which was free. Unfortunately the author died in 2015 so the website might no longer exist. NB It looks like the development of Registrator Viewer may have been taken over by somebody else. However please check before using!
Also, remember to regularly do a full overwrite (NOT just a quick) format of your SD card. This is because (certainly true for HD-2) units can just stop working and RoadHawk tend to blame the SD card for developing a fault, which in turn "bricks" the unit!
