|
|
Does anyone know if there is currently a problem with Inrix?
On Monday I came back from Wareham in Dorset and my Drive 50 LMT-D was giving me traffic. However yesterday my 2599 LMT-D didn’t give me traffic on a trip down to Chichester and back.
I’ve just been out with both units active and they are searching for traffic without finding a provider (which, as far as I know should be “Inrix (S)” in this area). Current provided is set as “Auto” on both units but also shows “Inrix (S)” but if I select that, it immediately reverts to Auto.
Anyone else having a problem, or know what the problem is?

I'm getting the same problem in Nottinghamshire, might try a full restore, see if that does any good |

I’d thought about a full restore, but as t’s on two separate devices, I think it’s more likely the service than the device. Or, has there been a recent update, relating to the traffic service? I’ve got an idea there has been.
Anyway, it’s good (sort-of) to know that someone else is seeing the same problem. Thanks, _________________ ... Joe

My devices are picking up traffic without any problems, so must be something wrong somewhere in your system. If you have updated it recently try a master reset. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Are you plugged into the correct cable, the power cable that came with your device? _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I've only got the one cable and it is the original .........
Can't pin down when I lost the traffic data but possibly in the last week or so _________________ Garmin DriveLuxe 50 LMT D - Firmware 5.90

Still off on the sunny south coast.

Great, publishing things that happened three days ago.
But a screw up seems possible. |

I remember years ago under RDS when Eagle Radio in Surrey became a 'provider'.
They were added to the list before they went live and RDS was dead until I got to the M4 from the M25 when Capital Radio was now my nearest 'provider' and RDS kicked in. _________________ DashCam:

Latest update.
Last night driving down to Chichester, no traffic but coming back at 22:00 there was a signal. This morning initially driving into Horsham I had traffic but then it died.
I think it’s a localised issue. _________________ ... Joe

I'm popping out today to check some M3 cameras, I'll see what I get whilst on the move.
Apparently, according to one report, this brand new Hadecs3 camera has been removed !
I very much doubt it but got to be checked.
Also, there is a report that one of the Specs has been removed M25/M3 area. It's been some time since this 50mph roadworks limit was Specs controlled so it must be close to being finished ? _________________ DashCam:

Just been out ............
It took ages to get a signal, about 5 minutes, far longer than usual, but it did hold.
I was dubious as it was showing 'No Traffic' for almost all my hours journey, plus, I never saw the spinning icon when it periodically updates.
Then, when I turned onto the M4 it gave me a yellow bar which then disappeared, almost immediately, as expected, when I turned off.
It just seems slower than normal.
My last Map update was 30th August and last Firmware 23rd August and it was working OK first week of September so it's not update related. _________________ DashCam:
