|
|
My wife and I have recently returned from a trip to Cornwall and I have just tried checking that all of the places that we visited are already saved as POIs in the POI submission page and I can't see any POIs (for any category) on the map at any zoom level.
However, the speed camera submission page is working OK as I can see icons of speed cameras that have already been submitted.
I'm a Mac user and have tried Safari and Chrome browsers with the same results.
Is it just me, all Mac users, or everybody who's affected?
MaFt, is this anything to do with what3words on the POI submission pages?

Hi Daggers,
Thanks for confirming. I'll contact the admin team to see if they could have a look and fix it.

Me too - I thought it was my machine until I saw this thread. Hope it isn't too big an issue for the admins. |

Are they little brown circles or are they the standard stuff ?
I've zoomed in on my tablet (used Manchester) and I can see some, but not a lot.
Got anywhere specific so I can confirm ? _________________ DashCam:

Hi K,
You should see the different square icons.
From my records you could have a look at Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Hotel New York, and Disney's Newport Bay Club, although they are in France - they should demonstrate the problem.
You'll see the POI pointer (green circle) but there are no icons for the various POIs that should be there.

If the user submitted ones are square then no, I can't see them either.
Just the little round brown ones that do look like standard default.
That first link shows me 4 round POi's with the left 2 being amusement park brown wheel icons. _________________ DashCam:

Hi K,
Yes that's what's happening at the moment.
The user submitted ones are square, and they are not visible.
The little round brown ones are the standard Google Maps builit-in ones.

Still goosed. Assume admins are working on it.
Downloads still work but submissions would be blind without the display on the submission map. [I have several to do but won't submit unit fixed] |

I'm in Portugal with limited internet access and don't have my main laptop. I think I know what's causing it but I can't do anything until I get back over the weekend.
Apologies for this! |
