To elaborate on M8TJT's answer, the database contains known sites for mobile cameras; it does not give live information on where the cameras are at any given moment in time.
These cameras are split into two groups;
Mobiles - sites which have been fully verified and been reported at least twice, and
Pmobiles - sites which have been reported, but not yet fully accepted into the main database.
The Pmobiles can be omitted from the download if you so desire. _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

Thank you for your reply's on this. Quite obvious the sat nav didnt pick this mobile camera up, but the funny thing is that over the time I have been using the camera updates I have been past many mobile speed camera's and I cannot remember even getting a bleep to say they are there. Some of them are places where the police radar teams sit on a regular basis. Thanks again. |

Have a look at the map (see the big yellow pointy finger on the right of this page) to see whether the particular cameras you are having issues with are in the database - it is possible that they have never been reported. If you are the first person to report a camera, you could win yourself a year's free subscription to the database. _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

We rely on 'crowd' submissions, so please report any that you see. |

The ones I am talking about are well established places where the police sit in their marked roadside spots. I may be mistaken but after them being there many years they would have been added. Maybe wrong. |

Have you done as suggested and checked the map to see if they are there? If you know one that isn't on the map just submit it. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Unless you actually see them/have seen them with a speed gun, then don't report them otherwise we will have every police perch in the country in the database. And after a certain period of time if we don't receive "Seen Again" reports, they get removed. |
