Hi all I have been snapped at a red light camera last week when we had the snow, I was in two minds whether to stop or go through but remembered there was a camera and had to brake hard and slid through tripping the camera, I phoned 101 and reported it they gave me an incident number so I intend to write and explain the situation, so I was hoping that someone on here could offer me some advice please
thanks

I suspect they'll take the view you were going too fast for the conditions and you'll be fined, but no harm in trying to defend it. Some could try the same excuse because it was wet, but that wouldn't likely win either. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I agree with sussamb - they'll take the view that you should drive in accordance with the road conditions (after all, if you had an accident doing it, I don't think you could use the skidding excuse). _________________ Dennis
