Garmin have been going since 1989 and are one of the main stays in the world of GPS - whether that's for aircraft, road vehicles or fitness. In recent years they have been producing a number of dashcams and for the last few weeks I've been using their voice-controlled, GPS-enabled DashCam 65W to review.

| Do you mean that you have to cancel the startup warning every time like the Garmin PNAs? They go off after a few seconds, does this happen on the dashcam? |

It goes off after a few seconds, but it's still annoying. Especially when you need to set off quickly - you have to clear it in order to adjust the camera position to make sure it's got a good view. |

| Yes agreed. It's a pain in the butt, but it has been the same on my Garmin PDAs and my new Garmin based built in satnav in my car. And on my previous Accord with an Alpine head unit. Right pain. And I would imagine more so on the tiny screen of a dashcam especially when you have mounted it behind the mirror. |
