I have followed the instructions to use my camera alert app with Apple maps on my I phone 7 but the camera alerts do not appear on the map when used in the car for navigation with Apple Car Play.
My set is obviously wrong how do I correct it? |

I understand that visual alerts are not possible on CarPlay but do you still get the audible alerts?

CamerAlert uses Apple Maps within the CamerAlert app itself, with the camera icons overlaid on top.
But doesn't overlay the icons over the Apple Maps app itself.....
CamerAlert and Apple Maps are two separate apps, using the same maps.
So the icons won't show on your Apple Car Play as you are viewing the Apple Maps app and not the CamerAlert app. |

Yes it does work voice only when run in the background

| Why not put Waze on your iphone - it will dispaly on your car screen or phone and you can download the speed data base from here direct to phone as camera alerts |
