|
|
I have been using the database for many years on TomTom and more recently Garmin but now I have a car with the Ford Sync3 Nav System which will also run Google Maps or Waze over Android Auto from my Android phone. Is there any way I can use this database on either system or even just announcements from the android phone whilst it is connected? _________________ Drivelux |

Not at the moment unless you just use the audio via bluetooth.

Thanks for the reply, what app would I used to create the audio alerts from the database? _________________ Drivelux |

Oops, sorry! I had assumed you were asking if CamerAlert (our iPhone and ANdroid app) could work with the Sync3.
You would need to use our free app, log in to your account with it and then send the audio alerts through Bluetooth |

Good to see you again, MrT.
I would suggest a combination of Waze in the foreground with CamerAlert in the background.
Although not definitive, Waze has a lot of fixed, redspeed and average speed camera locations. It has very few, if any, mobile camera locations. The camera locations show up on the map and "flash" as you approach.
In conjunction with CamerAlert, I believe it should serve you well.
