That's a maybe, but it's borked the transfer of Cyclops to my DS61

Remove the device then reregister it.

Click on the Tools and Content tab, then scroll down ... select Remove device.

Then close and open Express and select Add device ...

Ah, I thought you meant Cyclops, not the DS61. I'll try that later when I put my computing head on.
