I am suffering the same problems of loss of Bluetooth etc..
I think I can get it back on track but don't know how to do a 'hard' reset.
Can anyone help. |

To hard rest a 2210:
With 1st hand hold down far left hand button on the front
With 2nd hand hold down far right hand button on the front
With 3rd hand :D stick the stylus in the soft-reset hole at the back and hold it there. The screen will kind of fade out. Push the reset button again and it will come back on, completely reset. |

Thank you nej I'll get in training!!
If you hard reset what does in fact do? Do you lose date/progs?
Thanks |

You lose everything - all programs and data, except what is stored on your storage (SD & CF) cards and what is in the IPAQ File Store.
That said, if you have software installed to the SD card, it will still need re-installing as all the associated registry entries etc will have gone. |

A hard reset seems a fairly drastic action.
The problem is that all sound has 'disappeared' from TmTm. I have checked 'File\properties\. The Voice Instructions box is ticked but no sound when I TEST'. Sound is on in Navigator.
If I try to 'Demonstrate Route' I get the message Unable to start demonstration (2).
Would be most grateful for any ideas. |

I would suggest do a soft reset (by sticking the stylus in the hole in the back). If it's still bad, then try re-installing TomTom. |
