GPS Fix

Hi,
Each week before I download my PGPSW update I get the Auto Update from Tom Tom for my GO 750 Live. Has anyone else noticed that Tom Tom have not provided a GPS Fix adjustment for the last 2 months?

No such problem here. Every time I connect my VIA 135 I'm offered a GPS Fix update. Confused

also have a 750 Live and no longer get the GPS Fix. Suspect it is more of TT trying to make such useful devices obsolete

Thank you for your replies. I knew that the earliest models had stopped being updated but I think that my 750 is 7 years old and I have recently bought map and traffic updates to 2019 so I think that TT are being a bit mean not providing me with the GPS updates.

Anyone have a different view?

Agreed, but do you really need the GPS updates? All they do is enable the device to get a quicker lock if it has been off for a long while or moved a long way?

Back in the good old days, I used to uncheck the GPSFix option. It had gained itself a reputation for dumping us in fields etc. I refused it for several years, until TT checked it in grey and made it impossible to refuse. I feel very lucky that I have survived in spite of it!!

try select "add Traffic, Voices and other services" then click more then select
"items on my computer" and see if GPS FIx is there and select it to add it again.

Thanks satsam that does seem to have worked. Once I had figured that I had to do it from TT Home (I initially tried to to do it without being logged in). As you said there it was together with Map v990! After updating my PGPSW cameras just now I checked and the loaded map is v1000. So, hopefully now all OK. Whether GPS Fix will be offered in the future we will have to wait and see.
