|
|
Hi,
I'm looking for a car charger kit which can power both my ipaq, an hx4700 which i believe uses the standard ipaq connector and my emtac socket BTGPSII unit. A year or so ago i got my Father using a h2210 and TomTom GPS kit which came with such a charger, it had the cigarette lighter plug with two sockets for power cables, one to the ipaq and one to the TomTom GPS unit. This would be perfect as the TomTom GPS and Emtac share the same sort of power connector.
I've looked around on various sites but can't find one, the closet i've come to it is a cable at globalpositioningsystems.co.uk but they didn't have the correct cable for the GPS unit.
If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.
TIA, Steve. |

Total PDA Sell the Emtac 'Y' Cable Charger at £14, it is listed as for the Emtac Trine but that shares the same socket as yours. You will also need the power dongle that came with your iPAQ.
See here for details. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for your reply, just what I'm looking for but just before i order i don't suppose you know whether the second cable can be unplugged from the first if i only want to power the PDA?
Thanks again.

It appears to be identical to the one I received with my Emtac GPS and if so then 'yes', the additional power cable unplugs at the 'Y' connector and is a simple double ended lead with a two pole plug at each end _________________ Darren Griffin |

Just to let you know I ordered and received the cable (along with a spare widget for the ipaq power connector) from the place you suggested. It is just what i was looking for. Thanks for the heads up. |
