I guess these will be released within a couple of weeks or so BUT will they call them v1000 (can their system even manage four digits after the "v") ?? |

They'll roll the numbers back so that in a couple of years time, they'll be back up to v990 and you'll think your current map v995 is up to date.
I wonder if the installation procedure checks your current map version and refuses to install this one unless it is a greater than your existing one.
And what will they dumb down? Maybe cut out side roads? I'm already annoyed that the postcode files have been wrong since map v960 (check CF10 4GA - postcode for BBC studios in Cardiff - should drop you in Teigr Way, but puts you a mile away on Adam Street). _________________ Dennis

Yeah, maybe some of my old v6.5 Product Code Cards will start working again too when they roll back that far? |
