The smart phone will also use GPS transmitters to get a "fix", does your car windscreen have a wire mesh built into the screen to heat the screen for defrosting and demisting. This coupled with heavy cloud can cause signal loss f in-car satnavs |

No. It has some kind of heat reflective coating but it's never been an issue.
I'm writing the experience of as a freak but if I'm ever again south of Bruges turning left/southwest off the A403 on to the A40 towards Ghent, I shall be very vigilant!

I posted a while ago tht my Nuvi 760 was greyed out in MyGarmin and surmised that it had received its last map/software update.
However, I went into Garmin Express just now and find that an update to map version 2018.20 is showing as available.
Not bad going for analmost 10 year old model.  |

Yes the NT version of the latest map, which was released in August, is now available for the older models that use the NT rather than NTU version. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
