Custom POI icons not showing

I’m on my 4th Garmin and to date have had no issues with custom POIs or using POI Loader.
I updated my speed cameras recently and as usual simply reloaded my POI file containing all my customs.
On the road yesterday I noticed that none of my custom icons are showing at any scale.
I can search for them through categories and the see them on the info button and they come up with their correct icons, even the ‘personalised’ icons, but nothing shows on the main map.
I have recently updated the software and have since done a master reset but not helped.
Does anyone have an idea please?

Do the speed cams show up, or have you 'lost' them as well?

Which Garmin? Many of the latest ones don't show icons on the map unless you're navigating to them. You might also have the appropriate map layer turned off if your model does show them.

I’m on a drive smart 50,
Nothing is showing, which includes the banks and McDs etc.
All the layers are ticked and I’m set to track up.
It’s a little odd. I have my home as one of my custom poi and the icon is displayed. Normally, I can drive past some where and see what’s around but that’s not at the moment.

Yes I saw Suss answer, but before updating I was able to see them. I have used this Drivesmart for six months with no problem till now?

On the DriveSmart you should see icons IF in Settings, Map & Vehicle, Map Layers, Up Ahead is selected. If you're not and you've recently updated do a master reset.
