Checked running in background behind TT GO app on Bluetooth headset, all fine. Same again with “Do not disturb whilst driving” on and set to automatic, all behaved normally.
I’ve noticed a large black square on starting the app but by and large I think we have our app back, thanks team 👍 _________________ Mike

Hi, have you noticed with the new versions that speed is blinking during driving. I mean previously numbers changed smoothly, but now there is short "blank background" in the number box. Is it only my setup (iP 5s, 11.0.2 and 2.0.4)? |

My iPhone 6s is the same. The blinking keeps me nicely awake |

App is working fine apart from the flickering speed reading as previously mentioned.
Thanks for sorting out the running in background issues. |

OK, so core-functionality is restored now?
Just a few bugs and niggles but it does it's main job now at least. |

Yes, core functionality all good with me, iPhone 7 with iOS 11.0.2
Speed flickering the only minor issue here.
Thank you. |

I know I may have been a bit sceptical in my previous posts about whether the CamerAlert database would actually make it back into the Apple App Store, but I must give a big vote of thanks to all of the Pocket GPS staff who put up with a fair bit of flak over the last few months from all of us ‘doubting Thomas’s’, and came up with the goods, despite all the hassles with Apple.
This is by far the best database of it’s kind available, and long may it continue. Although I get a free database as a ‘lifetime’ member I’ve made another donation, and will continue to do so every year.

Seriously impressed with how quickly you guys have got the fixes done since the iOS 11 version.
Many thanks. |

I join to SteveJ's donation club as lifetime member when I get my confirmation of correct functionality (next time I pass camera is Saturday, that's the reason for a sort delay). I thank you guys also, as IT oldtimer I know how difficult these issues might be. |

I’ve done all the updates, IOS & Cameralert and up to today all has been working working fine.
However I’m now getting a message when opening Cameralert - any ideas?
It’s telling me that Cameralert is working on an update for IOS 11 and to tap here to close the message.
Why is this coming up as I can’t do anything but tap the message to close it? |

Same as a Steven, had the iOS 11 message come up on startup today. No real problem as it’s easy to get rid of, but intriguing as to why it’s suddenly reappeared.

I had the same iOS 11 message the other day.
I've also noticed when in auto/night mode (and at night time) that the screen flickers brightly on occasions.
Camera detection works perfectly though. |
