Having just updated my device the mount has now failed! The suction pad keeps coming off the actual mount. Does anyone know how to fix this as new mounts seem expensive.
The other alternative is to power the device via the car usb socket and use a dash mounted holder. The trouble is when I tried to power it from the usb socket it asked if I wanted to connect to computer. On saying No, it then worked for a few minutes and then turned off, but still kept charging. Would it work via the power socket with an usb adaptor in it?
Any help appreciated. |

Hi
You need to power from a car power socket with an USB adaptor in it so it does not try to talk to the car system. I do this on my car. |

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that would be the case. So now I need an usb power socket adaptor.
Can anyone recommend a decent universal sat nav holder that will cope with the 750 as this has the power connector at the bottom. |

Do you mean this sort of thing from Amazon? http://tinyurl.com/y7jupxff . I have something very similar and power my TT and dashcam.
Incidentally, I found the original cigar lighter shape more successful than the slimmer flush versions.

Yes that is the sort of adaptor I will be getting. Now need to find a suitable universal holder. |
