Launching PoiLoader manually is a breeze (I've got it pinned to the start menu).
But if you're going to automate it, my exe is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\POI Loader\ in Windows 10 (note the space in the folder name, but not in the exe name).

Ta
I think mine will be similar on Win7 64bit. 32bit will probably be similar but without the x86 bit.
I've got a few ideas so it's not intrusive to those who want to launch it manually. _________________ Satnav:

Before I put some code behind this, does this approach work for everyone?

Bit of polish and it works for me:
Bonus: I'm already detecting where POILoader is for the SOX check
Controversial: I'm leaving the Converter running, as before, as the popup occurs before the cleanup routines, in case you want to alter the text.
Depending on feedback I'll change the helpfiles, version and publish. _________________ Satnav:

Nearly OK for me, but if the user decides to run POILoader, then exit the converter. What's the point in keeping it open? |

I can close the Converter when you opt to launch POIloader.
Is that a plan then ? _________________ Satnav:

Why would you want it still open cluttering up your screen? |

I think that you need the option to run POILOader in two places; one for those who don't change the text and the other for those who do. _________________ Paul |

I think I prefer the Converter to stay visible because I can check the stats:
