Have to say no updates from developers since realising the latest update is a little frustrating!
Pointless if it no longer works in background as most of us use a Satnav.
Also I assume that we are going to be entitled to a pro rata extension on our subscription?
Please don’t blame Apple, you haven’t updated for a long time, and months of nagging from people that you won’t be supported in ios11.
Now the app doesn’t work in the background at all.
Come on at least let us know if your planning on updating soon....can’t believe your advice is not to update to ios11 |

Several people suggested that on forum. Did you miss them? |

It's being looked into still. Again, not sure what updates you're expecting?

Have you considered that the app wasn't updated for so long could be because of Apple?
Every time an update was submitted they were rejecting it for different reasons each time. A few examples: "speed camera apps are illegal and can't be in the appstore" (even though TomTom's and others were allowed), "You can't collect a user's email address before they pay but you need the email address in order to restore previous purchases", "you need to add extra functionality to make it legal", "you must use auto-renewing in-app subscriptions", "you cannot use auto-renewing in-app subscriptions", "we cannot comment on anything decided by other app reviewers"
Just a few examples there of stumbling blocks constantly being put in our way.
So feel free to say "don't blame Apple" but, to be honest, they ARE the reason. We are far from being Apple haters - all the team here are Apple users but their treatment of small developers is awful.

That was heartfelt! Personally, I would be fearful of changes to CA because it gives me what I need as it stands: a nice big speed read-out, a clear map and my position clearly marked on it. The average speed readout is a brilliant solution. The warnings are clear whether thru my phone or via Bluetooth. And the data is updated weekly and you remind me of the fact. What’s not to like? If Apple would give us a split screen on our phones I’d be even happier and the tiny Waze speedo would be less of an issue. |

Now, will have to wait to get the t working fully | But had you waited for others to beta test it, then you wouldn't have the problem. What is so much better about iOS11 anyway? |

By all thinking then bet M8TJT is still in Windows 95. You update to latest version to keep secure.
Argue as you might but it wasn’t Apple who said Cameralert was fit for purpose so those who upgraded cannot be criticised for dong so. |

I keep away from Bleeding Edge technology. Whilst I'm happy to upgrade to the latest incremental version of the OS, I am wary of jumping to the next large version e.g. iOS 10.x to iOS 11.x or Windows 8.x to Windows 10. If it ain't broke then don't fix.
We have a lot of music on iTunes, whilst I don't have music on my iPhone, I have a dedicated iPod touch which I recently upgrade from iOS 10.x to 11.x as I thought what can go wrong? Well iOS 11 doesn't let you play music sequentially (i.e. track 1, 2, 3, etc) it just plays tracts randomly. A major problem for playing music, so backed out of iOS 11.

I'm not sure the blame game or a debate re merits of upgrading early or late is going to help.
It would be helpful, however, to know (i) if the developers have got a version fully tested and working or not and (ii) if it is now with Apple for verification and release.
Thanks. |

W10, but I have waited for others to find any catastrophic (for me) bugs/incompatibilities (see Privateer's post above) before I upgraded. Same with my Android phone. If it ain't broke, then don't fix it. Let others debug it. |

There must have been an issue(s) with iOS 11 as Apple pushed out an update immediately after launch. |
