The have indeed, but you need a *.csv file to import, not a *.ov2.
Can you convert .ov2 to .csv? |

Look at Extra POI editor. That can import OVs and export CSVs easily. That is what I use. Also, make sure that the CSV uses UTF-8 character set. I use Notepad ++ to do this.
I use Sygic (Be on Road) in the car so have gone through this process. There's a good how to here

I use two pieces of software to convert my OV2 to UPI which the latest version of Sygic still accepts
Step 1. I use Ov2Upi Translator 2.3 to convert the OV2 to an older format UPI. You can either do individual files or select the "translate in series" checkbox to batch convert
Step 2. I use POI Converter to update the format. Select the "Convert old UPI to McGuider 2009" button and process your files created in previous step. This batch converts a complete folder.
Step 3. Transfer your newly created files to the Maps/Import folder on your device and then when you next run Sygic it will import your new POIs. include a BMP file with them to display on the map.
I have tried numerous other pieces of software to convert from OV2 to RUPI but usually I still end up having to edit the CSV file to get the correct format that the converter will accept.
This is the only reliable way I have found for consistent results although YMMV.
The import will return an error if the UPI file is empty but will continue with the next until finished.
I will leave the files shared on my Google Drive for a while should you wish to try this method. Am I allowed to share these files?
My main device is a TomTom PND and that is what I use to mark/create POIs which I then edit in Tyre before I transfer them to my phone in Sygic (which I always have with me). Sygics POI creation and editing is woeful and not worth bothering with, plus unless you use a 3rd party software can not be exported to display in Tyre (or similar) for editing.

Thanks for your help, I've not had a chance until today to do any further investigation into this!

Where and how do I access the "Maps/Import folder"?
I have tried using iMazing, but under Sygic I don't see that folder, just a "Documents" folder ? |

On an Android device the maps folder is Android\data\com.sygic.aura\files\Maps on either the internal memory or sd card depending on how it was installed
As you mentioned iMazing which is for iPhones then I will not be able to help sorry.

Looking to have another go at doing this.
I have an iPhone rather than an android device, anybody any idea / experience of where I need to put the files / folder?
I have imazing, which I have used to manage POI files for the the TomTom iOS app.
I can’t see any maps folders under Sygic only a documents folder which seems to contain numerous .kml files, these appear to be created whenever I have used Sygic. |

Hi adobbing,
Sorry, I missed this before. I'm afraid that the iOS version of Sygic cannot take custom POIs, despite what the Sygic website says. I contacted Sygic support in April 2017 and they confirmed that the iOS version of Sygic couldn't handle custom POIs.

Import POIs on iPhone / iPad (iOS)
Launch iTunes on your Mac/PC. Connect your iPhone/iPad to Mac/PC.
Click on your iPhone/iPad and go to the Apps tab.
Choose Sygic navigation in "File Sharing".
Drag and drop .upi/.rupi and .bmp files directly into Sygic. Do not drag and drop folders.
Sync your iPhone / iPad with iTunes.
If Sygic is running on your iPhone/iPad, close it.
Launch Sygic on your iPhone/iPad.
A dialog for import of custom POI will open and your are done.

According to this it can, but the method suggested no longer works since the ability to configure Apps was removed from iTunes.
I’ve emailed their support to see if they can advise on an updated procedure. |

Good luck!
It would be nice if Sygic have added custom POI support to their iOS app.
It would be nice if they allowed the use of .csv files as well for POIs, instead of their proprietary files.

Do Sygic do a Mac version of Rupi manger, or an online version?
