Thank you. I know many of you will be, rightfully, seething about this and I felt quite sick when I discovered the issue earlier.
We've had so many issues with Apple refusing our previous attempts to get app app updates approved (they had decided that our speed cam app was bad even though many others were OK) and threatened to pull the app entirely. That was why we added the MPH/KPH conversion table to assuage them.
So we were over the moon to get this update approved uncontested. That'll teach us to count our chickens.
Right, let's get this bug crushed. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks team, shame it isn't quite right but I'm sure you'll solve it.
I noticed when I checked 'Location Services' that the "My Sky' app is behaving in exactly the same way i.e:
Select app and check 'Never', go back in and select 'While using', then open app and go back to 'Location Services' and the only option is 'Never' again.
Interesting that another app has the same 'problem' I thought I'd mention it in case it helps
Good luck _________________ Mike

It’s not the TV app it’s the app for checking your account and reporting problems.
I think Sky apps require your location to confirm you’re in the UK _________________ Mike

Yeah, only the Sky Q app is using GPS on mine, none of the others including My Sky. |

I noticed that if you type the name of the app you want in the top box and hit done. The On Startup Also Run field in setup shows the typed name. So for example I added Navigon and that shows in the Setup screen . But on restarting the app Navigon is not run.
+1 for the previous comments re installs on iOS 10.3.3 I'm using an SE and the app works fine with the exception of the above minor point |

Have the custom URI's been changed for TomTom and Navigon? You can check what these are by sharing a location from the app and seeing what the address starts with eg tomtom:// or navigon:// etc
The other thing could be that Apple no longer allow us to test what other apps are installed - in which case you may have to manually enter the custom URI. At present, the GPS issue is priority. |

Hi MaFt
On the iPhone I don't appear to be able to get an address as you say. If I share from Navigon, using Glympse I get a Glympse weblink and if I send destination then the e-mail has a file attached NAVIGON.target
With regards the GPS issue. I noticed some very odd behaviour on the app this morning with the speed reading.
I use an iPhone SE runnung iOS 10.3.3 and I don't use maps just notifications via BT to my Pioneer Sat Nav.
I have the phone where I can see the speed display and since the upgrade I notice the speed display blinks off randomly, the speed reported is quite erratic. This morning travelling in a 50 limit @ 50 the display was showing anything from 48 to 56 in random jumps... I was set on cruise at the time so doind a constant speed.
The display was doing the same in average camera zones also. I will try to get more detail as I do more miles with the app.
But as the speed is calculated using GPS I wonder if the iOS11 issue and this are possibly linked... |
