What response do you want? It's being worked on. Are you wanting hourly updates as to how many thousands of lines of code have been re-worked? I'm pretty sure that constant updates would mean much less time to spend working on the app. |

Well, as your response here is the first since June 23rd, almost 3 months ago, any sort of reply with an indication if it would be ready or not for ios11 would have been nice. |

It's been mentioned in various places in the forum and in the newsletter that it's being worked on.

Right? Just letting my subscription expire, got the email about renewal today. Got excited first, seeing it's from PocketGPSWorld - iOS11 release! Nope... See you some other time, maybe, PocketGPSWorld. |

Well, I’ve got a lifetime subscription. Maybe that just means for the lifetime of the app? As of today it no longer works. |

Can I please have a subscription refund?
I've been asking for updates for 18 months and now it's finally here - IOS 11.
Pocketgpsworld promised a 64 bit version well in front of IOS 11release.
What b******s we've been fed; lies upon lies - that's when anyone has updated the forum anyway.
So; can I have a subscription refund please as Cameralert is DEAD on the iPhone 😡😡 |

Cameralert is now dead on my iPhone just as Apple said with IOS 11 AND my subscription runs until July 2018 - what a rip off from PocketGPSworld. |

If the ios11 app does ever get uploaded to the store (BTW, do consider using TestPilot to allow testers to try it out), can you please add it for all countries? It's not in the Luxembourg app store which means I can't update it even if it was there for ios11... |

Seriously! This is getting quite boring...
I think the team at PGPSW have got the message about releasing an upgraded app, as have we...
If you have just got your iPhone 8 congratulations early adopter, I hope it's been worth the wait.
But if you've upgraded an existing iPhone then the loss of CA is surely down to you, you chose to hit the upgrade button.
Personally I leave it at least a month before upgrading to major iOS release. Saves a shitload of pain and a possible bricked product and it lets all those who rush in suffer IMHO
I do sometimes wonder if the smartphone using population understand the complexities of app development and store approval, but then I just need to read this thread to realise the answer is clearly no |

This isn't the only app with issues regarding IOS 11, Disney amongst other is also affected.

The subscription really covers the updated database. I use Android so this may not be the case with Apple, but trying to find an app out there that either has a good, up to date database OR allows the import of PGPSW csv files is extremely difficult.
There are lots of apps with rubbish, severely out of date data despite what the blurb says.
Given the problems the developers have had with Apple in the past including being removed from the app store, the fact that they are working on a 64 bit version says a lot for their patience. In addition, I doubt Apple are being that helpful. |

I use navigation apps with offline maps that allow the import of speed cameras and will give warnings so the data is the important thing. |
