On my S6, the volume is the buttons on the left side, the ones you would use to turn music up or down. Once activated, you can access a drop down menu for all the other volumes it has.

I made a post about that within the last month (which I solved).

In the APP setting there's 'advanced' at the bottom of the list and in there is an option to set the warning volume relative to the music/audio volume....does that not make a difference? |

That does not have any effect if you're listening via the phone internal speaker, only bt/car. I have exactly the same problem as the OP and have all but given up using CA because I can't reduce the uncomfortably loud sound level. _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

My issue was actually max volume when played via BT through the car. The phones own speaker system was silent for me which I never investigated.
I'll try and find the thread. _________________ DashCam:

Several people have been complaining about this, but there has been no definite 'fix' offered by the developers.
Great app, great database, app let down by lack of support and feedback. |

Just stabbing in the dark but my phone has different sound levels for different things. Check all of them and see if one is on max. _________________ DashCam:

Cheers, so does mine, and I've tried adjusting them all but CA seems to bypass everything in its bid to drown out everything else _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |
