If that's the same with SS then that would drive me more crazy than now.
I still think SS must cause premature wear on the starter and flywheel. Time will tell. |
Agreed. I switch mine off normally. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

The whole kit and caboodle because the Nav and radio are all part of the same unit.
Mine, being proper torque converter auto doesn't have SS. Same as Suss though, if it did it would get turned off, to the wrath of the tree huggers. _________________ DashCam:

None of my 3 BMW's with SS have turned the aux power off every time the engine stops or starts. The sat nav stays on. And goes off when I turn the ignition off.

SS uses the alternator and its belt to restart the engine, similar to a motorbike. |

The Fiat Ritmo/Strada/Regatta of 1983 was the first to have this but I think sales were too low so they dropped it. |

PSA e-HDi engines use a massive capacitor to energise the reversible alternator.
It's made by Valeo. |

Ah ok. Must be unique to PSA then. Either way I'd switch it off _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
