Hello everyone, I am having trouble converting the wav files. A couple of weeks ago I did an update for my NUVI 2699 LTD, took a few hours. I have now tried to load the latest camera updates with the voice pack and large icons. I keep getiing the message ( unable to convert the WAV files to the proper format, therefore this audio file was not transferred ). Also the icons do not show and no info about camera's show as I come up to a gatso. It seems that no info is transferred to my Satnav. I use the Garmin POI loader . The voice pack I am using, which I have used before, is WAV Male no prefix. I don't update the camera data much, the last time was in December. I was starting to think I had forgotten how to do it. Perhaps something went wrong with the update, which took about 3 - 4 hours, but I got no message to say something was wrong. Can anyone say what might be wrong?
Thank you |

Perform a search here using "sox" as the keyword.
We have your issue covered quite a few times. _________________ DashCam:

Download sox.zip from my dropbox HERE or here http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/downloads/sox.zip, unzip it and put sox.exe into the file in which poiloader.exe resides. Usually it's at C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\POI Loader (on a 64 bit machine).

We also host sox.exe on our site here: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/downloads/sox.zip |
