Weep for me.
The GO6100 has been running for half an hour downloading first the critical update to My Drive Connect, then another hour to download the new map (I have 70Mb broadband) and is now half an hour into the update on the device, and shows 25% done. I have to get up at 6:30am tomorrow to go to Rosyth, will it ever finish in time?
Meanwhile, my GO520 has map update subscription valid until 2019. So when I connected it required a critical update of Home. In theory, I've downloaded and installed that at least five times, all ending with a failed message. And recently the 520 has started to misbehave screenwise - the touchscreen seems to have lost sync and my finger gets the wrong symbols. I am having to use my remote control all the time now. But when I go to connect to computer, I can't get it to accept the finger tap for YES!!! _________________ Dennis

Thank you David. I had vaguely heard of this, but never was interested because I didn't have a problem. I have copy/pasted the instructions and emailed them to myself - I'm 400 miles from home and only on mobile so I can't do anything here. _________________ Dennis

I installed map v9.90 on the day it was released; no problems. Today I had an email from TomTom offering me v9.90 because my current map expired on 18/03/2033......................really? 2033? Or is this the expected termination date of my lifetime maps? |

Bloody typical TT efficiency AGAIN!
I too just today got a similar email although no mention of expiry of current map.
Did you also see reference to:-
"How to update?
Step 2 of 3
Open MyDrive Connect** and Log in to open your TomTom account"
....even though my device is a NAV2 that uses TTHome ffs! |
