Hi
Got a TTG, bought a 256 card, downloaded the speed camera database, transfered the ov2 anf bitmap files into the great britan map file on the SD card but then what? how do i find them, how do I allocate them a name so TTG recognises them
Also same problem installing some of the other POI's that are available on here
any help would be great!
thanks

I transferred the ov2 and bmp files into the GREAT BRITAIN NAVIGATOR MAP file, I notice there is a file called GREAT BRITAIN MAP, not sure if it makes any difference if you were to put the ov2 and bmp files into that file instead, have you?
Not sure what you mean by allocating them a name but there is no need to rename them, should you do re name any file make sure the ov2 and bmp files are the same name. |

whats the best set up for speed camera notification regarding sound and visual alerts?

Just mark the ones that take your fancy.
I've set my camera ones to 200 yards. |

Next thing Im struggling with is the actual tomtom cd that coems with go.
How do I install the ttg interface on my pc, everytime i put the cd in it starts from scratch, asking me to select a language and click yes on the terms and conditions etc
Also I installed the vast majority of the POI's then did a back up/restore but now cannot find the back up file on my pc anywhere?

one more thing......
Ive downloaded loads of POI's and when i connect my ttg via usb and explore whats on it, then the poi's show, for example airfields.
however when I go to maintain my list airfields is not there, same with continental speed cameras and quite a few others, they just seem to be missing???? |
