Hi, Just bought a Kenwood DNX8160 in dash Satnav Media player. Will the Kenwood speed camera CSV file from Pocket GPS world be compatible? My model number isn't listed?
Thanks |

sox.exe is a Windows executable that allows POILoader to convert .wav (voice alert) files to the format required by Garmin devices. It has to be located in the same folder as POILoader on your PC. Normally C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\POI Loader. Download it from HERE and copy it to where I just indicated. You will then need the download with the *.wav voice files, NOT the *.mp3 ones.
I don't know exactly how you then get the camera file onto your device. |

Thanks for the help now downloaded and installed.
Windows converted the files when uploading to my USB stick so must be working.
I will upload to the kenwood tomorrow and post a reply on what happens. |

Presumably you did use POILoder? to get the stuff onto the USB? Or is that not necessary? |
