|
|
At the moment I'm glad I've got a TomTom and not a Garmin.
A friend asked me to update her NUVI device with fresh maps, speedcams and postcodes.
With TomTom its fairly straight forward to do this, but with Garmin so far I found this hardwork. Been searching for any downloads or info what Garmin uses for postcards or even if its used, negative.
I've got a UK map as she wanted also speedcams, but postcodes - nothing.
Anyone with any info on this
thanks _________________ TomTom One XL

I think post codes and Garmin speedcams get updated with the map. |

Unlike TT there isn't any need to do a separate postcode update, as pointed out it's all embedded with the map.
As for speedcams, which ones are you talking about? The ones from here or Garmin's own? If Garmin's own and she has a subscription they are updated via Express, same program that's used for updating the maps. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
