Does this update automatically when you connect your device to tomtom mydrive?
I have a GO5100.
If not, how do I update these postcodes (uk)?
Many thanks. |

I think the newer NAV3/4's that use MDC will (eventually) get offered the new files direct
Maybe wind up the TT forum and ask the question there?
Something along the lines of:-
"I undertatand that the new v985 postcodes are now available for the older NAV2 devices (although I've not yet seen any announcement here) so does that mean they are (or will soon be) available for the newer NAV3/4 devices via MyDriveConnect"? |

I notice that the files are dated mid January.
Having installed them I find that they still have the error for CF10 4GA - BBC Cardiff, Teigr Way - TT think it's Adam Street, a mile away. They had it correct in map 955, but wrong in 960 and all subsequent ones. I spent a long time explaining to CS, who asked me to use map reporter to correct it! _________________ Dennis

Again, bloody typical!
The data within the 985 maps is actually dated 12/26/2016 (Boxing Day to us Christians) so it would appear that they do start creating new maps pretty soon after the last release each time. |
