Trying to find my way around cities in UK & can never remember my way back to the hotel ! A sign of old age it seems.
My question is, can I get a hand held device with good battery life & not bother with those silly waypoint things ! Proper street maps
Please don't suggest anandroid app for a phone cos I hate mobile phones !
Thanks ! |

Garmin handhelds will do what you want and there are free worldwide maps for them. A set of AAs will last around 16+ hours on most devices. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way.

But you won't get much by way of free maps from Garmin.
You'll need to check out some form of Open Street Maps.
