Excellent app! The only "but" I encounter it's that I wish I could have a different form of tracking like Vito Navigator II for example. I do not like the straight arrow lines for tracking because they are not perfect when using a Road Map. 8) _________________ latinware

|
|
Hi.
I would really like to try GPS Tuner as it sounds ideal for Geocaching but I have got paranoia over this issue about TT3 locking the Bluetooth stack so that other apps cannot use it.
I know there is a solution which requires uninstalling the GPS portion of of TomTom which will make everything work but the last thing I want to do is scre up TT3 or worse still bluetooth on the PDA itself.
I have an Ipaq 4150 with TT3 bluetooth (Obviously ;-)) and would be very grateful of any assurances from users that have the same set up as me and have got everything working.
Also I am correct that if the GPS part is removed TomTom will not automatically connect to the bluetooth receiver?
Many Thanks
Darren. |

For one, you should be backing up your PDA so that you can restore it at a moments notice if your battery dies using Sprite Backup, so if you had a backup prior to uninstalling then it shouldn't be a problem. |
