Hmmm ... Express has only installed EU North to my device, rather than the full EU mapset. Suspect this is linked to the software update most devices had a while back to cope with 'larger mapsets'. I suspect Express should have installed EU North and a separate EU South, but it hasn't.

Just checked and under MyMaps it says NTU 2017,30 3D and ALL North. In Express, it said that it was downloading All Europe.

The DEM map still appears to be missing. Can anyone point me to the link for downloading this file from the internet? I have not been able to locate it when I "google".

Definitely an update issue then. If you want all of EU I suggest you don't try to update at the moment.

Edit: Garmin acknowledge it as an issue, been passed to their developers.

So nobody at Garmin updated their map and checked it prior to releasing it.

The Microsoft school of updates, patch it out and wait for the phone to ring.

You need to check the satnav itself.

Interesting that Western Europe shows as 4.21 GB, whereas on my DriveLuxe the Full European maps show a download size of 4.24 GB yet on the World Traveller edition the Full European maps show as 3.29 GB (so clearly not full European then).

I'll compare both sets of downloads to see what data is missing.

I don't need Europe so I may just get UK&I this time round like I have on my 2597.

Express shows the 'full' EU map as 3Gb, which let's you know that there is something amiss as the last was close to 4Gb. The actual map you get is less, the balance is the junction view etc files. Either way those wanting the full EU map should wait until Garmin sort iit out.
