Still getting the
"Microsoft .Net Framework required for Garmin Express setup" error message and the update aborts.
Since upgrading to Win10, I always have to run the Microsoft Tool to upgrade Express, which means I have to re-register my units every time
I am running Window 10 Home and am certain I have the .Net on my machine as other programs wouldn't work.

My win10 system works perfectly so I guess something is wrong with your system somewhere. Have you tried calling Garmin? They can remotely look at your PC to determine the problem. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

On W10, updating GE works just fine for me also.

.Net comes in many versions and they are not backwards compatible.
Because of my Visual Studio programming I have virtually all of them so I can't help with the version GE needs but it does sound like your flavour is broken. _________________ DashCam:

Garmin normally when they talk about DLC mean things like additional mapping. In this case it could be that or something completely different. Mostly any Express updates are driven by problems with or additions to their fitness devices. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
