After downloading the speed camera data base using CSV to GPX Converter onto my Garmin NUVI, I am getting multiple bongs and voice warnings, up to 4 for one camera. Can anyone explain and cure for me |

Have you got multiple .GPI files in your POI folder on the device. That's the first place to look.
Are the cameras that you get multiple warnings from isolated cams, or are there are others on the same gantry? |

Make sure, in the GPX Converter, that the values in the Overspeed column are all zero, and that the Overspeed Warn is set to Standard.

Using the converter you will only get one 'approach' warning for each camera.
If you are over the limit and you have overspeed selected then you will get more than one warning.
2) The converter doesn't issue 'bongs' so check M8's advice. _________________ DashCam:

I have checked and I only have one GPX file for each camera and the warnings are for isolated cams.
I have unchecked the overspeed warning in the GPX converter so I will see if that makes any difference.
Thanks for all your advice. |

Nope to all statements.
Your looking for multiple .gpi files on the Garmin itself in the POI folder.
With regard to the overspeed, you need to read the converter .htm manual with regard to deselecting overspeed by setting the proximity seconds to zero.
There is no individual setting. The overspeed clickbox is just to switch between voice warnings. _________________ DashCam:

Unfortunately I am unable to open/view the Garmin POI gpi files on my PC. I have used the Garmin POI Loader to uninstall my all my POIs. Then reinstalled the PGPSW camera database. Will that clear any multiple gpi files?
I have reset the overspeed setting to zero. |

That should do it.
You can't read gpi files as they are an encrypted format. _________________ DashCam:
