Actually they haven't, vehicles and voices are still there, just they've removed the 'garmin garage'. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Does this version return the missing DEM file to relevant units? _________________ Dabri.

No idea as I don't have a model that uses a DEM map. You could try and let us know _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Reinstalled the maps last night with the new GE.
Sorry to say that at least in my case there is no change on my 3598 - the DEM file is still missing.
Also, still waiting for an answer from Garmin Support regarding this.

While the update does not offer to download the DEM file, there is now a mention of installing Cyclops cameras on my device.
I take this to mean that the issue of not being able to use Firefox or Chrome to download updates of these files from myGarmin has been solved. |

Well, if that's the case it will be a blessing. I updated the other night and I must say I didn't see this feature on GExpress. I had to jump through several hoops to download the safety camera database using Garmin Communicator. Doesn't work on Firefox/Chrome/Edge of course and you have to set permissions on IE11 - what a pain! I don't suppose you have a screenshot of GExpress showing the camera download option?
Thanks. |

I'm surprised anyone here would give Cyclops a second look. _________________ DashCam:

Sadly, GE does not recognise my existing Cyclops purchase even though it finds my account.
Back to IE until the subscription expires. |

Worked perfectly tonight. All my details appeared this time and UK Cyclops was updated far more robustly than using IE. I must have rushed it this morning. |
