Hi - I tried to PM Kremmen but not sure if it went! I've installed both CSV Direction Converter and CSV to GPX Converter and set them up as indicated on the help pages. I've downloaded the database and unzipped it in CSV Direction Converter and clicked on "Process" command successfully. Then I open CSV to GPX Converter and click on "Process" but get this error message each time I try:
"Error in Create GPX Module: The process cannot access the file '\\Mac\Home\Documents\My Garmin\CSV Converter\Gatso_Forty_E.CSV' because it is being used by another process. 75"
The error message is identical each time I try to run the "Process" except that the file unable to be accessed changes to another CSV.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit on my Macbook Pro using Parallels. I used to run your old CSV Converter program successfully on my Mac when I was running Window 7 Pro using Parallels.
Help - any idea how I can sort this? |

I've just replied to your PM.
Never had this before but step 1 is to download and install 'Unlocker' http://filehippo.com/download_unlocker/
Step 2, get the lock and use unlocker to identify what has grabbed the file.
That program is handy for identifying what has a file locked. Don't use it to unlock the file as there is an underlying problem.
I'll wait for the results. _________________ DashCam:

I want to download the CSV Converter application but the link sends you to dropbox. I don't have a dropbox account, is there another message/link to this download? |

You can create a Dropbox account for free but I didn't think you needed one to download.
I've downloaded from there without logging in. _________________ DashCam:

Thank you for such a prompt reply. Yes, I was able to download CSV Converter without setting up a Dropbox account. |

I've been successfully using CSV to GPX Converter with my Zumo 660 for sometime time and am on Version 2016.06.01.45. I've recently bought a BMW Navigator V, which is basically a Zumo, and have installed the same files on both devices, using POI Loader. All works normally on the Zumo; however, the icons show on the Nav V but there are no voice alerts. I have set the device to give warnings for custom POIs and selected audio off - the same settings as on my Zumo.
Any idea why the voice alerts aren't working? |

I've got no experience with the BMW unit. _________________ DashCam:

Since the navigator is basically a rebadged Zumo it should work the same. Just to help troubleshoot this, rather than use POI Loader simply copy the .gpi file from your Zumo and save it in the POI folder on your Nav. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I've looked at the online Nav V manual and it's useless. Just says use POIloader
It does say that advance alerts and speed warnings are an available feature. _________________ DashCam:

On the Zumo I had the audio warnings turned off, so that I wouldn't get a bong and the voice warning. Because I wasn't getting voice warnings on the Nav V, I turned on the single audio warning and, guess what - no bong, but I now get the voice warnings! |

Important Info:
The latest version of MalwareBytes Anti-Ransomware (not the main MalWareBytes Anti-Malware) halts the program in it's tracks after half of the files have been processed and quarantines the program.
Understandable really because I'm rapidly changing files and their extensions.
On my system the answer is to exclude the program folder from the check.
Being as this is a ClickOnce application it's not so easy but on my system it needs this:
C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\AZAD1ZR7.NND
Or temporarily suspend MalwareBytes Anti-RansomWare _________________ DashCam:

They updated the anti-ransomware last week. _________________ DashCam:

Didn't even know this program existed, but have now installed it, anything to help just in case I'm infected but I backup regularly to my laptop just in case anything should happen to my desktop.
Thanks K for the heads up!
Couldn't find that folder to exclude though, mine seems to be C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\J816LPTM.ARZ ?? _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I've been running that anti-ransomware since beta v1.
The website blurb reckons it covers all the known variants and my program being trapped means it uses behaviour as well.
It looks like the folders are different after the 2.0/ but is easily trapped by starting the Converter, then Task Manager, right click the program in TM and one of the options shows the folder where the program is located.
You can go as deep into the tree as you like. _________________ DashCam:
