My GO6100 is NOT getting this.
My GO520 did - and as usual, numpty forgot yet again to copy my mapsettings.cfg.

Y'know, I'm sure I remember a time when new maps were released simultaneously for all users.
Or am I just getting so old my memory is fading? Not very impressed that the top of the range model GO6100 comes bottom of the range for map updates.

No, you are quite correct, maps used to be released for all models on the same day up to a little while ago (a year maybe?). Then slippage started to sink in as various maps didn't make the deadlines: Australia and New Zealand come to mind.
Came to a head with 970 with maps for devices using Home being delayed six weeks or so. Now this........
I've left some of the problem releases out but, in general, your memory hasn't failed you at all, Dennis.
About map release dates, anyway.

Just updated my Go 750 Live and it's now going through a reboot loop. I've tried a reset but all I get is the TomTom logo, then pause of about a minute, then reboot.
This is the first time anything like this has happened, normally updates go smoothly.
I alway do a copy of my SD card before update so will try to restore from that.
