Which camera files - ours or TomTom's?

And how do you define 'recognise'?

I forgot to mention the BMP files with the illustration of speed limits they open fine but the ov2 do not open, perhaps it's a problem with my computer only and maybe I need a programme that will open the ov2 files.
Cheers

What exactly are you trying to do?

If you are simply trying to install the OV2s onto your TomTom, then you don't need to be able to OPEN them - you just need to be able to copy them to your device.

If on the other hand, you are wanting to interrogate the files, and actually look at the data inside them, you can use third party software or website such as http://www.poieditor.com/.

As Daggers says, you don't actually need to OPEN the OV2 files - they are a compressed, uniquely-formatted dataset. Not for human consumption. But your TomTom will be able to use them.
