Apologies for the very late response in this! There was a bit of misunderstanding between myself and Richard (mostly on my part though)
The file has now been formatted for our system and imported. So it will now be processed as normal.

Just to finally draw a line beneath this one, a thank you to those who work behind the scenes to enable us to make use of this excellent site. The 'Preserved Railways' POI file now appears to be up and running and even has the changes I suggested to the icons associated with them: The DMU is kept for mainline stations, the steam loco (which was level crossings) becomes related to all things 'preserved railways' (so as well as stations it could also be for camera viewpoints, or other associated stuff accessible from the road) and level crossings become the 'gate'-style icon. Well chuffed, thanks again.
Now which POI's shall i do next... |

Hi DEANO3528,
Glad that you're happy with the whole "Preserved Railways" thing. Many thanks to you, MaFt, and Richard for getting this all sorted.
I'm afraid I'm not that clued up on railway stuff, although my wife and I do like to occasionally visit historic railway lines and/or stations, so everybody's hard work is appreciated.
You mention "DMU", would I be right in presuming that that is a "Diesel Multiple Unit"?
Finally, to make it easier for the rest of us to find the sub-categories. The following is a list of the main categories and their sub-categories with the associated icons of the sub-categories:
Attraction (main category)
Sub-category:
Preserved Railway (i.e. stations, camera viewpoints, other associated stuff accessible from the road)
Transport (main category)
Sub-categories:
Level Crossing
Train Station (i.e. mainline stations)
You can either download the POIs for your PND from the PGPSW download page or use the PGPSW Mobile site if you have a SatNav app on your smart phone.
