I just managed get hold of this TomTom Mobile gizmo off eBay for just under £150 inc VAT; can't wait 'till it arrives!
I'm curious has anyone had any reliability issues at all or is it quite stable? |

Thanks for the feedback - good to know I won't need to patch it as soon as it arrives :D |

SPV E200 phone & TTM.
First rule of life never trust anyone...
Happily cruising down the M5 today navigating with TTM, and my phone rang... answered phone with BT headset, had a 5 in call whilst TTM continued to track my position. I even went into the "configure GPS" menu & it was showing speed & lock status. Sooooo what is this about no dual BT support....
Anyone else tried this or just assumed it wouldn't work because they told us so?

It would appear that 'some' BT Headsets have an issue and some work fine.
If you read this thread you will see that I have acknowledged this error on my part and amended the review in resepct of the comment about concurrent BT connections _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren,
I wasn't meaning you in the text but the response from Tom Tom saying that it wasn't possible. Sorry if I implied the review was wrong, that was not my intention. I apologize unreservedly if you think that was the case. I hadn't read the review thread
Soz mate.... as we say in Brum!
Regards

Not a problem, I just assumed you were referring to my comment in the review which has now been stricken! My mistake and no offence taken! _________________ Darren Griffin |

thanks for the help guys
I borrowed a card reader/writer
downloaded the new version of cameras poi
unzipped
sent to "disk"
dragged into the great britain file
so far so good
put card back into phone
browsed poi
and they are there :D :D
already enabled with bell warning!
question now is (hopefully my last!)
if I browse the map
should I see camera locations?(cos I cant)
or only while navigating?
cheers

I doubt it, voice prompts don't come through the BT Headset and MS Smartphones don't have a BT Carkit profile only Headset. _________________ Darren Griffin |
