Whilst I have no issue with the current version of the app, it works just as I need it to.

You are getting hammered 2:1 on the App Store with 1 star ratings because of the lack of development and supposedly poor support, mainly because some individuals can't get their heads round the complex subscription model Confused and updating the database.

We have heard much about Apple threatening to pull the app from the store and the resultant halt in development of the iOS version. Then we hear they accepted an updated version with MPH KPH conversion Rolling Eyes and that a new version will be released soon... I think that was mentioned over a year ago now!

Please give your iOS user base some update on what is actually happening with the app. Is a new version in development or has development been abandoned?

Yours a satisfied user, regardless of black bands, annoying pings and an outdated UI.

Apologies for the lack of response. There's nothing to report at the moment. Sorry!

Terrible news I would be unable to recommend this app to friends and the old app is not working well for me.

For those looking for alternatives, here a link to Auto Express Group test with their recommendations: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/87053/speed-camera-detectors-2016-group-test

What, exactly, is not working well?

If the other reviews are as inaccurate as the one for CamerAlert, those people who rely on a review running to a piddling little paragraph featuring varied text rather than substance, will have only themselves to blame for any disappointment.

It's working fine here. What, exactly, is broken about it?

Just installed the beta for iOS 10 on a 6s Plus. Get a warning when I launch the app that it is not 64bit compatible.

Perhaps that's the reason for the dev silence about a new iOS version... They're building a 64bit version Very Happy After all Apple did warn developers back in April 2015 of the 64bit change, so they won't be just ignoring it, will they Rolling Eyes

There's also a problem with volume control (Android) that has been reported numerous times, but again no response has been forthcoming. I have always run CA through my phone's internal speaker but it is so loud on my Galaxy Note 4 that I have given up using CA, and now rely on the less than accurateTomTom Go database. Whilst it isn't as comprehensive, at least my ears don't bleed whenever I get warnings.
