Why can't I edit my post to correct the links. This is a stupid idea, allowing posters to edit some posts but not all.
What is the reason Admin?? |

Quite normal to prevent editing on a lot of forums. I've got no Edit option in this thread either.
I know the reason behind some sites is to prevent a 'thread' becoming disjointed when a post in the middle is changed.
You have an hour over on the car forum then that's it.

Also prevents spammers coming along later and editing their posts.

I see the forum titles use "Portable" eg "TomTom Portable Navigation Devices".

Against what i said earlier, the opposite to personal would be Public. i could never imagine a PublicShared Navigation Device so why should a Personal Navigation Device exist? equally, what's the point of a Non-portable Navigation Device? why not just use the term Navigational Device?
Vote for Equality for SatNavs. Static and Shared alike.
however, personal still gets my vote over portable.

As opposed to my built in Honda SatNav my Garmin is 'portable' between vehicles.
