The NT version of CN EU 2017.10 has just been released for those of you with older Garmins that use the NT map version. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Thanks.
It has been so long since it was released for more modern devices that I though this cycle had been skipped. |

I downloaded this map update earlier to my PC as my old Garmin has insufficient memory. I then transfer to SD card to insert in the device.
This works well for me if I allow a couple of hours for the download.
Once done I delete older version of maps from my PC. I've just gone to delete an older mapset and I notice the 2 previous files were 8.13 gb whereas the latest is only 4.22gb. Have I missed something here?
When I download a new mapset I check it by looking up an address in Belgium I regularly visit. All looks fine so why is this file only half normal size? |

No idea. The full EU map is 3.6Gb so why your previous mapsets were over 8Gb I'm not sure. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Thanks for the reply.
It's a backup unit so does not get used really.
Strange that my previous downloads were over 8gb though. |
