As a newcomer to this Forum forgive me if the points I am raising are already covered in this Forum.

1. I have downloaded Camera Database 14.033 (16/3/16) onto a Memory stick. The sub file on the stick says 'pgpsw-speed-cams-NOF6R (14-033)'.
Is this correct?
2. After data is downloaded via USB connection in car how do I know it has been successful as only original Nissan Alerts data is down on screen?

NO. The file that you reference to above is the downloaded .zip file. You must first unzip its contents and put the unzipped file onto your memory stick.

PS. See what I mean about answers being all over the place? Very Happy

A couple of tips:-
If you haven't already done so, set your OS to display file extensions. If you don't know how, let us know your OS and we will show you.

On the forum, hover on the big blue 'Forums' tab towards the top of the page and select 'New Posts' This will list all the new posts, surprisingly enough' and enable you to quickly see which ones have had new posts recently.

Thanks for your note.
I am using Windows 10 so your advice on how to open the zipped files in this OS would be appreciated.

Give me a couple of mins and I'll be back.
Later:
Open file explorer (This PC from start menu)
Click the view Tab
Check the File Name Extensions check box

This will show the file name extensions so that when we talk about (say) SOX.exe, you can actually see it as that rather than just SOX.

Assuming the your PGPSW download has gone into your downloads folder, it will have a filename similar to "pgpsw-speed-cams-xxxxx-(xx-xx).zip"
Double click the zip file.
Drag the file from the zip file into your downloads folder then Cut/Paste it to wherever you want. I don't know the filename that you want, but I have just FD/L the Nissan Connect (not the old one) and in the listing there are two xxxx.csv files

pocketgps_uk_masters_and_pmobile.csv
and
pocketgps_uk_sc.csv

The difference is given as a clue in the file names.
I think what you need to do now is to copy the x.csv file onto your stick. (I haven't looked at the install procedure so it may have to go in a sub folder of the stick)
Good luck. Please report back here.

Success.
Thanks to your advice managed to download Speed Camera Database and get Nissan Connect system to process it.
References on Connect screen did not change after new data was processed so assume it only changes when new data provided via Nissan is used.
Here's to the next one.

With so many types of fixed speed cameras around together with mobile speed cameras what is the best distance to set POI Warning at, 250yards or 1/4 mile?

Best option is to use Kremmen's CSV to GPX converter. You can make all kinds of adjustments with that. The thread is HERE

Thanks for the link.
Discussion seems to relate mainly to Garmin system so not sure if it covers Nissan Connect Sat Nav which I think is provided by HERE.
Anyway as I am not that computer literate it's a bit too complicated for me, but thanks again for pointing me in that direction.

I downloaded a few updates without any problems.
However followed same procedure for latest issue using same memory stick and nothing happened when connected to USB in Nissan car.
Any comments would be much appreciated.

Under the topic titled 'Jaguar XF camera warning' I have shown some details about setting the camera warning distance on the Nissan Connect system fitted to my QQ.
May be of interest to some NC users.
