Mine is an 06 Focus and seems not to turn off. I've left my Bluetooth A2DP audio receiver plugged in numerous times overnight to charge it up. If it went off after 5 minutes or so then I wouldn't have a charged receiver. Wonder if it's something added in later models? I have considered getting it re-wired to make things like this easier but it actually has it's perks - when I stop for petrol then the kids DVD players and/or tablets can still have power!! |
Probably then as mine is a 13 plate.

Agreed. The fact the lorry exited into lane 1 on leaving the roundabout is perfectly acceptable and he/she had priority. MaFt should have given way

If I'm not mistaken, he grew clever very quick, and DID give way - he has dashcam footage to prove it!

We bought ours when PocketGPSWorld ran an offer and have been reasonably happy with it. We turned off the Low Light Warning because, frankly, it was doing our heads in by constantly alerting even when driving on full beams in a well light area.
The only real problem, and one I think is far more detrimental to the unit, is the very low volume of the safety camera alerts. The unit it set to full volume but if there is a conversation in the car, or worst still music playing, you wouldn't stand a chance of hearing it. It's not exactly obvious even when there is nothing else going on. This seems strange as the satellite lock alert is very loud, if the camera alerts were that loud you'd never miss one! Whilst I'm not somebody who wants to drive too fast it's always possible you could be caught out by an unexpected, or badly sign posted, change in limit and miss an alert.
I'm hoping this is something a subsequent update may resolve. |

| Has anybody noticed that the dash cam still thinks that they are still driving on an average speed road when turning off and driving down a road which is not monitored by any further speed cameras? |
